Water/orientation: The flow of the river from Lincoln to Boston suggested to Paul the theme of orientation. Paul was intrigued to find that during september a regatta is held on the River Witham from Lincoln to Boston. He wondered if future platforms might be able to have some symbolic significance to the race, marking a moment in the competition.
